Last Saturday I went to a Cineplex with my friends to watch
an action movie.
Just like everyone, I was so involved in the movie that it
left after effects in me.
Everyone gets that weird feeling after watching an heroic
movie.
You would break your knuckles unnecessarily, feel an inch
taller, wanting to hit some bad guys and would walk with a rock music
behind….feeling like an hero.
When the movie was over, we came out and I walked to car
parking alone to get my car to the front gate where my friends were waiting.
(of course, with a rock music inside my head. J).
Suddenly something disturbed my thoughts and I came to the real world. I looked
behind and saw a black car following me.
The face didn’t look familiar. A middle aged man with beard,
sun glasses on and a cigar casually hanging from his lips. I started walking
again and the car followed me slowly. I increased my pace and the car did the
same. I deliberately stopped and the car stopped.
I got a bit nervous and started thinking the ‘movie’ way -
When was the last time I indulged in a fight or mentally tortured someone? Did
someone hire a thug for messing up with them? But I couldn’t remember of any
specific event.
I gathered some courage (the heroic feel helped) and went
straight to the car and knocked the door gently. The glasses rolled down.
‘Excuse me Boss. I feel as if I am taking your big car for a
walk. Why are you following me?’
He took a deep puff and replied:
‘So that I can park my car once you take yours out. The
parking lot is full’.
The hero died pathetically. L
